Its official, New Zealand has been voted the least corrupt government in the world. A report released by Transparency International, surveyed 183 countries on various criteria related to corruption. New Zealand scored a respectable 9.5.2011 was highlighted by economic, social and natural upheaval. The corruption percentage index drafted by Transparency International, shows that the public´s frustrations are well founded. More than 50% of the countries assessed, scored 5 or less, which is a shocking indictment on countries as a whole.New Zealand, Denmark and Finland top the list, while Somalia and North Korea hang at the bottom. Public sector governance is the responsibility of all governments and all citizens the world over.Lets hope 2012 brings better fare.
